I am a train fan and modeler by marriage. Basically, I married a model railroader! Dan taught me about trains early in our relationship by taking me rail fanning with him. When we would go for motorcycle rides, somehow we always wound up along the tracks so I learned a lot by watching trains. I was intrigued by his modeling in O Scale, and tried my hand at On3 for a while. Dan’s railroad, The Richmond, Danville & Southern has several wine cars because of me. I still help Dan with scenery from time to time on his layout and run occasionally, but my passion is in a different hobby, quilting. Vacations usually include both trains and quilt stores, keeping us both happy.
